How to watch movie online?
- Go to UPSTREAM.ph/movies to see all the available films.
Click under your chosen film.
- Click on "STREAM NOW on UPSTREAM" to watch your chosen film.
If you booked in advance, you can find your movie under the "My Shows" tab of your GMovies account!
GENERAL
The Stream Now feature of GMovies allows you to "rent" videos via mobile or web and watch this at the comfort of your own time and place. These movies are distributed and made available by UPSTREAM.
UPSTREAM is a GMovies partner who provides video content such as movies and shows.
There are different types of local and international videos available within the UPSTREAM movie portfolio found in the Stream Now section. These videos can be bought either on-demand or in advance. The videos are updated from time to time so make sure to keep coming back to see what's new and available. Simply select the Stream Now section in GMovies tab to see the available videos.

To rent a video from UPSTREAM, please follow these steps:
For web
- Sign up or register to an account on GMovies
- On the home page or "Stream Now" tab, select desired video
- View movie details then proceed to payment for rental of video
- Select preferred payment method and complete checkout process
- Start streaming on UPSTREAM or watch later from "My Shows" tab
For Mobile Android
- Download the Gmovies app from Google Playstore
- Launch the app and sign up or register to an account on GMovies
- On the home page or "Stream Now" tab, select desired video
- View movie details then proceed to payment for rental of video
- Select preferred payment method and complete checkout process
- Start streaming on UPSTREAM or watch later from "My Shows" tab
For Mobile IOS
- Download the app from Apple Appstore
- Launch the app and sign up or register to an account on GMovies
- On the home page or "Stream Now" tab, select desired video
- View movie details then click "Learn More"
- Proceed to gmovies.com.ph and sign up your GMovies account
- View movie details then proceed to payment for rental of video
- Select preferred payment method and complete checkout process
- Start streaming on UPSTREAM or watch later from "My Shows" tab on the app
All you purchased videos that are not expired yet can accessed and streamed from "My Shows" in your Gmovies account
Yes, all videos are available for rent and for stream within a certain time frame depending on the production house. The date and time until when the video can be viewed can be found in the movie details under Important Reminders. Once this has lapsed, said videos will expire and will not be accessible for either rental or streaming.
These details can be viewed on the movie details as well as during the rental process under Important Reminders.
The movies are only being rented for a duration of time. Hence, if the access to the rented videos has expired without being opened or viewed at all, then you may rent the same movie again as long as it is still published and available for purchase in "Stream Now".
Refunds for expired videos that have lapsed beyond the validity will not be honored by UPSTREAM.

Advanced Purchase is a feature that allows you to purchase videos in advance. Some of these videos have a limited number of users who can purchase the movie so purchasing it in advance ensures you that you will have access to the video. Don't worry, we will notify you the day before via email to remind you when your advance purchase video is about to show.
Once the video becomes available for viewing, users will be prompted accordingly and can go to "My Shows" in their Gmovies account and stream.
An on-demand video can be watched as soon as you rent the video.
While an advanced purchase are videos that you can purchase now to be viewed on the premiere date. These videos usually have limited slots so it is best to purchase in advance to guarantee your viewing experience.
Yes, as long as there are still available slots (for movies with limited tickets) and it is available in Stream Now, then you can still purchase the video even if it is showing already. However, if the slots are sold out, then you can no longer purchase the video.
GMOVIES
GMovies is a mobile app and website platform that provides a seamless booking service for both cinemas and 3rd party online video streaming services.
You can register for free.
- Launch app and select from sign in option
- Input personal details being asked and hit submit
- Verify your account using OTP
- Nominate MPIN for account security
- Verify MPIN to finish account creation
You can visit the GMovies website or download the GMovies app.
PAYMENT
You can pay using GCash or your Mastercard/Visa credit/debit card.
iOS users can only complete the purchase on the web.
On the payment checkout page, input your discount or movie pass code on the Voucher Code field. Once the system has verified the validity of your code, a check will show on the side of the box. Discount will then automatically be applied during checkout then you may proceed with checkout.
Unfortunately, UPSTREAM does not allow refunding of rented videos.

INTERNATIONAL FAQ
If you have a PH SIM tagged to your GCash account, you have the option to cash-in via:
- Accredited remittance centers
- Online bank transfer
- Ask family or friends to send money to your GCash account
Yes, the voucher codes will be accepted regardless of the mobile SIM (PH number or International number) used on his GMovies account.
Unfortunately, Upstream does not allow refunding once you have confirmed your movie booking.

Both the movie pass and discount codes are designed for single use only. Once used and the movie has been claimed, it can no longer be re-used.
Yes, definitely! You can gift the voucher codes, both movie pass and discount vouchers, to your loved ones here or abroad. All they need to do is sign up for a GMovies account and follow the step-by-step procedure, as shown above, to book a movie.
STREAMING
Streaming is strictly capped to one device at a time.
Make sure that you hit the pause button of the video player on the other device or wait for a few minutes to continue playing video on your current device.
This could probably be caused by a number of reasons. Please ensure the following:
– Connected to a stable internet or mobile connection
– No VPN usage
– International booking starts Dec. 18 and streaming worldwide for MMFF starts Dec. 25.
